All potential Centurion students will be assessed prior to being offered a place. The specific assessment process will depend up the child’s age and stage of entry to the school.
Following successful assessments the child will be placed in the appropriate year and Key Stage, subject to the availability of a place.
There is no admission testing for Reception / Early Years classes.
All relevant fees must be paid before an offer of a place will be guaranteed.
Our admissions team will be happy to guide you through the process, which will be made as clear and straightforward as possible.
Step 1: School Visit
We recommend that families come to visit the school in person before submitting an application. During this visit a member of the admission team will discuss your child’s individual needs to ensure that we are able to provide for his or her needs. Families will also have the opportunity to tour the school and meet members of the teaching and support staff.
Step 2: Pay the Application Fee
The Application Fee (THB 2,000 per application) can be paid in cash to the Finance Office, by cheque (made payable to: DETAILS PENDING), or by bank transfer to: DETAILS PENDING.
Step 3: Submit an Application
Applications may be submitted at any time. The application form can be downloaded from the website and sent by post, email, or may be completed whilst paying a personal visit. A separate application form must be submitted for each child, and must be accompanied by the application fee and the supporting documents.
The documents that are required at this stage include:
Special Educational Needs or Disabilities: the school welcomes applications from parents with children who have special needs. However, parents are required to inform the school about these needs during the initial application process, so that we can make an individual assessment and learning support plan prior to making an offer of a place. The provision of special needs education and support may incur an extra charge.
Please note that the failure to inform the school about a child’s special needs or disabilities may lead to the withdrawal of a place.
Step 4: Student Assessment and decision
Children will be assessed for their academic ability, their English language level, and their character and general suitability for Centurion International School. Naturally, this process will be tailored to reflect the child’s age and entry point into the school.
Applications and assessments will be reviewed by the admission team and education staff and a final decision will be made as quickly as possible. Parents will then be notified accordingly.
Step 5: Accepting a Place / Enrollment
Successful applicants will be sent a Letter of Acceptance plus an Acceptance of Place Form and Non-refundable Deposit Fee invoice. The deposit is 50% of the first term’s fees.
The signed Acceptance form and the deposit must be returned within the timeline set out in the letter of acceptance. Failure to comply by the date set may result in the offer being withdrawn and the place being offered to another applicant.
The final deadline for payment of fees for Term 1 (2018) is 7th August.
Please note that all outstanding documents and the remaining fees that are due for the first term (or remaining part thereof) must be submitted prior to enrollment.
For admissions enquiries email our admission team:
Please complete a separate application form for each child.
If possible, please submit all the supporting documentation at the same time.
Please note that we are unable to fully process applications until the documentation and the application fee has been received.
